This publication surveys the literature on the impacts of supply chain management on business performance. One of the main conclusions is that the deployment of logistics practices has a positive impact on operational performance (inventory rotation, deadlines, customer service). However, there are very few recent empirical studies on these concepts in Quebec firms. Foreign surveys too often look at very large corporations, whereas Quebec is largely made up of small and medium-size businesses.
