Somers Foundation (CPP) has now released <a href=\"https:\/\/cpp.hec.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/PP-2024-02.pdf\">a study<\/a> concluding that these reforms will not be enough to improve the industry\u2019s real productivity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe construction industry is at a turning point,\u201d explains Robert Gagn\u00e9, CPP Director and co-author of the study. \u201cIts inability to generate real productivity gains in previous years has led to an untenable inflationary spiral, considering the infrastructure needs of the province.
