In this study, we analyze the long-run performance of a group of decentralized agencies that were created in the province of Quebec. We collect all the data that can be related to performance in the annual report of thirteen decentralized agencies. The methodology adopted allows us to build a long-term, multidimensional assessment of the performance of these agencies. The results suggest that the performance of the decentralized agencies has improved over time, especially on the dimensions related to revenues. We conclude the article with a general discussion of our results.
